In May 2000, we came with our yorkie, furniture and belongings, to live in this piece of haven. We know since then that this is what life is all about. The great news is this: we still feel the same after 10 years. This newsletter has a 'fact' more than a 'news' characteristic, mainly because we would like to have the first newsletter as an informative letter about what we do best.
To be able to give another human being a soft place to fall when they need it most, is one of life's greatest opportunities. We've seen many people from all walks of life coming through our doors tired and stressed, and saying goodbye with a new kind of spring in the step. From real princes to cricket stars, chefs of great actors to singers and most importantly, ordinary people; we hosted them all. The reward is greater than one can explain for achieving that which brings people here in the first place - looking for a place were they will find peace, where they can really relax and go away fulfilled.
This beautiful village is a fauna and flora conservation area, and we use it to our best advantage in our own setting. The very old indigenous trees and beautiful award-winning garden is the heart of the guesthouse. Add to this our drive for service excellence, and nothing stands in our way to be the best hosts with warm hearts………and tons of passion for what we are doing.
There is so much here on the KZN south coast to do, weekend flea markets, cinemas, walking trails and extreme sport. There are the never-ending restaurants and horse-riding, or just a leisurely walk on the many beaches.
